The idea is not to imitate the good old 12" release format, but to present audio files in a more web specific way, that illustrates the concept mentioned above. Each icon in the mikrokosmos represents one artist. By clicking the icon you will get on the artist page. Here you find a short biographical note, the songs, and a link on the creative commons licence under which they are released. The content of the artist pages will be dynamic, new tracks will appear from time to time and the information on the artist will be updated as necessary. Behind the now inactive icons, new artists will appear. On each artist page you can sign up for a notification service. You will then receive an email every time (and only!) when something new happens in the mikrokosmos. This service is not artist specific so it is sufficient to sign in on one page only (or on this page).
